More than an ordinary day school
Boarding school life offers many highlights. The experiences shared within the boarding community shape and bond individuals for a lifetime. We have selected some of the highlights here that will remain in the memories of all Torgelower residents for a lifetime:
Christmas IWO
Every year, the graduating students organize the festive meal at the Christmas IWO. Teachers and mentors take care of the service, and the graduating students reflect on the past year in a small show.
Christmas concert
The annual Christmas concert at St. Georgen Church in Waren is a highlight of the musical year at Schloss Torgelow.
Carnival
The annual carnival party at the boarding school disco is a highlight of the school year.
business@school
The students of the economics course are presenting their business ideas in the competition business@school, an educational initiative by the international consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Halloween
As befits a castle, the ghosts roam Schloss Torgelow every year.
Ski holiday in Obertauern
Every two years, the whole school goes on an unforgettable ski week to Obertauern in Austria.
School of Ideas
Schloss Torgelow was recognized as a lighthouse project for the location Germany in the competition “Germany – Land of Ideas.”
Festive meal
The festive meals with a three-course menu are highlights of boarding school life.
Alumni reunion
Every five years, former students meet in Torgelow and celebrate a lively festival together with our current students.
Torgelow Triathlon
At the end of the school year, the Torgelow Triathlon is scheduled. First, 400 meters of swimming, then a lap on the bike around Lake Torgelow, and finally ten laps running on the tartan track. Participants can register for the individual or team competition.
