Living in a boarding school

Schloss Torgelow: Boarding School

Life in the boarding school

Security and comfort in a strong community.

Growing up is one of the most challenging and exciting parts of life. Much changes, everything is in motion. During this time, children and adolescents need a solid foundation and a sense of security within the community. In a high-performing community, children and adolescents find the right environment at Schloss Torgelow during important years to grow up. Here, they discover their talents, develop interests beyond school, and show what they are capable of.

The mentoring programs

In the boarding school, younger and older students, girls and boys have their own living areas: the mentorates. The upper school students live in the renovated castle and in the half-timbered rooms of the Yellow House, while spacious living areas are available in the modern boarding houses for the middle school students.

A house of their own for the youngest

For the girls and boys of the lower grades, we have built the house of the future, which offers them a very special, age-appropriate living space with plenty of play and fun.

Typically, two students share a comfortably furnished room that they are allowed to decorate according to their taste.

Educators trained as mentors

Each mentorship is supervised around the clock by two educationally trained mentors. They are available for the children and adolescents day and night, help with problems, ensure order and behavior, and provide care and advice.

All staff members at the boarding school have a pedagogical training, are personally selected by the Lehmann family, and are committed to the principles of a clear educational style. Thus, Schloss Torgelow guarantees that the children and adolescents are always in good hands.
