For three generations, we, the Lehmann family, have been guiding students towards their Abitur at the Kurpfalz Boarding School near Heidelberg, and since 1994 also at Schloss Torgelow. Our experience has repeatedly confirmed that, in addition to knowledge and education, discipline, tolerance, and self-confident action open important doors to success. Many former students remain in contact with each other to this day, as well as with us through the alumni network. They attribute their success in life to their work and communication skills, determination, and good manners, which they acquired during their years at our boarding school.
12 students in the class
Together with our educational team, we have developed a school and boarding concept that specially qualifies Torgelow students for the challenges of the future. In classes with a maximum of 12 students, they receive performance-oriented support, obtain a high-level Abitur after just 12 school years, gain experience abroad, engage in teamwork, and find friends for life. In lessons, our teachers have more time. Here, each individual is not only challenged but also supported in a very personalized way.
A strong community
From many applicants, we are selecting students in Torgelow who impress us with their positive attitude towards school, their personality, and their interest. Students from the 5th grade to the first year of the upper secondary school (K1) are welcome. Torgelow students have consistently ranked highly in the state-wide central graduation exams for years. We are very proud of their achievements. However, more important than the final grade is the development of our students into confident, broadly interested, socially engaged, and satisfied individuals who face the future with courage and determination.
