The six boarding school weekends are the highlights of the year.
Six weekends during the school year are jointly designed as eventful boarding school weekends. These highlights of boarding school life feature cultural events, sports competitions, and creative projects. Away from daily school life, students, teachers, and mentors create a foundation for mutual understanding through shared activities.
Return home for the weekend
All other weekends are home travel weekends. Those who want to go home can be taken by the shuttle bus to Berlin or Hamburg on Friday and picked up there again on Sunday evening. From Berlin Airport, there are flight connections to Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, and Stuttgart with Lufthansa or Eurowings. Even students from southern Germany can easily travel home this way. Contacts with family and friends can be well maintained despite attending boarding school.
Many students take advantage of the tranquility of the weekend to stay in Torgelow. Teachers and mentors offer them a varied weekend program. Cinema, canoe trips, bike tours, cultural events, sports activities … anything that is fun is on the agenda. Siblings and friends are warmly invited to spend the weekend in Torgelow after consultation.
