30 years of commitment and passion: Dr. Suzanne Hoot
For 30 years now, Dr. Suzanne Hoot has been a key member of the Schloss Torgelow team. With her outstanding commitment, competence, and humor, she is a great asset to the school and boarding school.
Dr. Hoot started as a mentor and teacher at Schloss Torgelow and actually wanted to switch to Chemnitz University after half a year. However, the university reduced the promised position to half. Dr. Hoot was not pleased with this change at all. She decided to stay at Schloss Torgelow. As she herself says: she has never regretted this decision. We are very glad that the university acted that way at the time.
At the beginning of March, we had the privilege of thanking Dr. Hoot for 30 years at Schloss Torgelow. She has spent four years as a mentor in the boarding school and continues to teach English to this day. She effectively imparts the necessary language skills to her students and is still passionate about her subject. She is particularly dedicated to the preparation and execution of the Cambridge exams, for which she is responsible. Additionally, she leads the Model United Nations project, providing students with valuable insights into the world of international diplomacy.
Dr. Hoot is much more than a teacher – she is an inspiring personality who teaches with passion and is appreciated for her humorous, clear, and warm-hearted manner.
We thank Dr. Hoot for her 30 years of loyalty and her tireless commitment to Schloss Torgelow.
