Former students of the boarding school: Kirsten meets – Episode 14
Robert graduated from high school in 2004 at Schloss Torgelow. He then studied business administration at the University of Rostock. At the same time, Robert organized parties in Rostock with a friend. His biggest event was an event in the Warnow Tunnel with over 8000 visitors.
After his studies, Robert wanted to do something “serious.” He opened his first restaurant, “Zwanzig12,” in Rostock. Success didn’t take long to come. Gradually, four more establishments were added in Rostock and Warnemünde.
In 2019, Robert made the decision to exclusively dedicate himself to the two restaurants, “Ratskeller” in Rostock and “Stromgold” in Warnemünde. He sold the Zwanzig12 group in order to fully commit to these two passion projects.
The Ratskeller has just taken first place in “My Restaurant, Your Restaurant.” I was allowed to visit Robert in Rostock at the Ratskeller. A film was created about Robert, about Christmas, about traditions, about the realization of dreams, and about the art of being a good host.
