Sun, beach, and sports – the team project trip for athletics took place in Zinnowitz on Usedom. Between training sessions, excursions, and lots of fun, the students had an athletic week filled with great spirits.

As last year, our team project trip took us to Zinnowitz on Usedom. From Torgelow, we set off by bus and started training right on the first day. We were at the beach almost daily, and even on Wednesday morning, we watched the sunrise together.

In addition to training sessions such as javelin, discus throw, hurdle race, and jumping training, there was also time to explore the surroundings. For example, we took the train to Heringsdorf, where we climbed an observation tower and explored the town. On the last day, we played a round of mini-golf and wrapped up the trip with a final training session at the beach.

Despite some illness-related absences, we had a really nice time, also because the weather was great and we could enjoy the sun every day. But most of all, there was a lot of laughter, which made the week especially fun.

A big thank you goes to the Santowski family, who organized and supervised the trip wonderfully again. We are already looking forward to next year!
