Life can be so beautiful. And it is especially beautiful when you are entrusted with a task that brings joy, promises fun, moves you to tears, and you have the chance to visit impressive personalities in their professional environment.

I, Kirsten Lehmann, have the opportunity to meet former graduates of Schloss Torgelow in the film series “Kirsten Meets…” and visit them in their current lives.

What I experienced during my visits, what I learned about the various career paths of former students, their goals, and their time at Schloss Torgelow, has been captured on camera by Jens Lange from “flamencofilm.” The resulting films are multifaceted, very personal, full of life, a bit sentimental, and there are one or two challenges for me to overcome.

Definitely watch, save the date, and celebrate with me. Have fun!

Episode 3: Kirsten meets…..Fabian Stenger, Managing Director of Flixbus DACH GmbH at Alexanderplatz in Berlin.

Fabian came to us in the eighth grade at the Schloss Torgelow boarding school in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from Munich in 1999. After graduating from high school in 2003, he studied business administration in St. Gallen. Today, Fabian is part of the Flixbus management team and is responsible for the German, Austrian, and Swiss Flixbus markets.

I had the opportunity to visit Fabian for a day at the Flixbus headquarters at Alexanderplatz and talk with him about traveling, the Flixbus team, determination, success, and his time at the boarding school in Schloss Torgelow.

A film about Fabian, about courage, about innovation, about arrival and departure, about achievement and friendship.

Dear Fabian, thank you for a day full of fun, connection, and warmth, for the chance to be part of a great team, for the green jacket (unfortunately much too short), and your patience. It was wonderful.
