Delia completed her Abitur at Schloss Torgelow in 2009. She then studied Business Informatics at the Westfälische Wilhelms University of Münster and earned a Master’s degree in Digital Banking from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Delia gained experience as an entrepreneur in Münster by founding a startup. She then worked as the youngest IT consultant at the leading European consulting firm for financial services, zeb.

Delia is now Chief Product Officer at Solaris Bank. Solaris.SE has over 750 employees at eight locations. As CPO, she is responsible for the company’s product teams and oversees both product development and new product initiatives. In 2019, Delia was included in the prestigious Forbes “30 Under 30” list in the category “Europe – Finance,” which recognizes the achievements of individuals under 30 in the finance industry. Since March 2022, Delia has been part of the “Digital Finance Forum.” She advises the Federal Ministry of Finance as part of a panel of experts on issues related to banking in Germany.

I had the opportunity to visit Delia at Solaris Bank in Berlin and watch her work. During our meeting, Delia and I discussed the fintech industry, current economic and political challenges, startups, Christmas, friendship, and her time at the boarding school in Schloss Torgelow.

Delia, it was a great day. Thank you very much for explaining your professional tasks to me in such a comprehensible and profound way. Your competence, warmth, clarity, and humility deeply impressed me. I felt “very at home” with you and could have listened to you for many more hours. One can sense that alongside your intelligence and drive, you are a very sensitive, warm-hearted, and reliable person. It was an unforgettable day, and I hope that we can have coffee together again soon and talk about life.
