Economy in Transition: Teachers Prepare in Düsseldorf

On September 25 and 26, 2025, Ms. Petri and Ms. Fausten participated in the teacher workshop by business@school at the Boston Consulting Group in Düsseldorf. The aim of the training was to gain new insights and practical methods to prepare students as best as possible for the business world of tomorrow and to prepare them for successful participation in the business@school competition.

Our boarding school has been part of this nationwide competition organized by the Boston Consulting Group for 18 years, demonstrating continuous commitment to economic thinking, entrepreneurship, and practical learning.

The workshop focused on current topics such as artificial intelligence and its impact on the economy, the critical handling of business and financial reports, as well as methods and tips for all phases of the business@school project.

With many new ideas and fresh motivation, both teachers returned, ready to implement their findings in the classroom and prepare the teams for the upcoming challenges.

Especially exciting: This school year, eight dedicated teams are starting off. All are highly motivated and ready to prove their skills. The first round of the competition will take place on November 6 – the anticipation and excitement are high. We are curious to see where the journey will take our teams, perhaps even all the way to the national finals in Munich.

We sincerely thank the Boston Consulting Group for the invitation, the inspiring atmosphere, and the valuable insights.
