Over 600 alumni celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of the Torgelow Castle Boarding School together on the first weekend of July. A day full of joy, excitement, and cheerfulness.

Under the motto “Coming home,” the sponsoring family of Schloss Torgelow welcomed former students and colleagues on the campus at Torgelower See.

The day started with lessons from the teacher legends of Torgelow Castle. Former students had the opportunity to participate once again in biology, math, geography, German, and physics classes with six colleagues.

Subsequently, Mario Lehmann officially opened the festival together with his daughter Marie Lehmann. After enjoying coffee and cake, the over 600 guests gradually prepared themselves for the party night.

In addition to a fantastic buffet prepared by the kitchen team led by Chef Jan Heeg, three food trucks, a “fry shop,” and a pizza station complemented the culinary offerings.

Entertainment was provided by genuine classics: “Bull riding” and “Whack-a-Mole,” a photo station, an art action, a giant foosball table, a children’s station with games, and a “Shimmer Booth,” where friendship bracelets could be made.

At the center of the celebration were, however, the reunion, the encounters, and the good conversations. Many alumni were very excited about meeting their former teachers, mentors, and classmates.

The later the evening, the more magical the atmosphere became. A fireworks display featuring a glittering “30” and a glowing heart marked another highlight. The dance floor in the disco was used extensively, and the celebration continued for many into the early morning hours.

The feedback from the alumni about the event was overwhelming. During the joint brunch on Sunday, everyone reminisced one more time and agreed: it was a wonderful celebration and a magical day.

Thank you to everyone who made the anniversary celebration unforgettable. Our hearts are still “dancing” with joy. Thank you for being there and feeling so connected to your second home.
