On December 14, 2024, the traditional Christmas concert of our boarding school took place in the Marienkirche in Waren, titled “Christmas Hour of Music.” Students, teachers, and citizens of the region experienced a festive afternoon full of music and poetry together.

Svea and Rafael charmingly guided us through the diverse program. Literary contributions with poems written by our former teacher Mr. Harmel were impressively recited. Musical highlights were provided by piano pieces, a string quartet, a flute solo, saxophone sounds, as well as performances by the student and staff choir and the staff quartet.

A highlight of the evening was the communal singing of “Joyful Christmas” and “Sweetly the Bells Never Ring,” which emphasized the festive atmosphere. The celebratory conclusion was marked by an inspiring speech from our boarding school director, Mr. Klein, who ended the concert in a contemplative manner with his words.

We thank all contributors for this atmospheric evening and are already looking forward to the next “Christmas Hour of Music.”
