*In the spirit of Christmas and peace, this year’s Christmas concert at the Schloss Torgelow boarding school in St. George’s Church in Waren featured a very special moment: employees stood together on stage and sang “Shalom Chaverim” – a song of peace, farewell, and solidarity. The students were spread out in groups throughout the church, filling the space with their quiet presence and attentiveness.*

This created an impressive musical dialogue between the stage and the church interior, between adults and young people, between voice and silence. *“Shalom Chaverim”* became more than just a song: it became a symbol of community, respect, and hope—and a moment that made the spirit of Christmas and peace particularly tangible.
