When help comes from an idea – Dr. Nadine Rohloff returns to Schloss Torgelow

Sometimes you can feel it immediately: This visit is something very special. When Dr. Nadine Rohloff, graduate of the class of 2009, returned to Schloss Torgelow to give a lecture to the biology classes of K1, it was not only an academic impulse but also a personal reunion full of warmth, recognition, and memories.

An evening full of memories

Already on the eve of her lecture, Nadine took the time to walk through the Yellow House, visit her former room, and engage in conversation with her former mentors. There was laughter, reminiscing, and storytelling. “It’s a bit like coming home,” she said – emphasizing how much the time in Torgelow has shaped her. The joy of reuniting was great on both sides.

A journey with many stops and one goal: to help.

The next day, Nadine spoke to the biology classes about her career path. After graduating from high school, she studied medicine at the University of Münster, obtained her doctorate, and worked in the women’s clinic – in outpatient services, in the operating room, on the ward, and in research. During this time, she developed a particular interest in working with endometriosis patients.

From this experience, an idea emerged: to develop an app that helps those affected in their daily lives. Today, this idea is a reality. The Endo-App is a prescription digital health application based on a multimodal, customizable therapy approach. It supports those affected through information, exercise units, and daily prompts.

The lecture was not only about medical knowledge, but also about the personal side of the illness: the uncertainty, the long diagnostic processes, everyday life with chronic pain – and how digital services can help make managing the illness more self-determined.

From the schoolbench to the founder

Together with her partner, Nadine founded Endo Health GmbH. Today, she leads a team of over 25 employees, works on further developing the app, and is already thinking about new digital solutions for other patient groups.

In front of the students, she spoke openly about the path to self-employment, about challenges and setbacks, about decisions, courage, and the interplay between medicine and entrepreneurship. The moment she stood before her former teachers and spoke as an expert on an important health topic was particularly moving. “My pulse does climb a little,” she admitted honestly – and convinced with calmness, clarity, and great commitment.

Knowledge meets attitude.

The visit of Dr. Nadine Rohloff was a special event. Not only because of the depth and relevance of her topic but also because of her personality.

Nadine is a smart, warm-hearted, and dedicated woman who is forging new paths in medicine. She combines expertise with empathy, entrepreneurial thinking with responsibility. Her presentation was impressive, approachable, and inspiring.

We sincerely thank Nadine for her visit, her openness, her time, and her commitment to better medical care for those affected by endometriosis.
