Antje graduated from high school in 2002 at Schloss Torgelow. After her journalistic training, she worked as a freelancer in responsible positions, including at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, C3, Gruner + Jahr, Tempus Corporate, and the Robert Bosch Foundation. In 2018, Antje co-authored the non-fiction book “Your Better Half: Why We Are Right or Left-Handed and What It Means for Our Lives” with Christiane Stenger – a Spiegel bestseller. In the spring of 2020, she co-founded the communication agency “wald & thal” with Brigitta Grunwald. Together, Antje and Brigitta combine their expertise in journalism, management, and marketing. Since September 2020, they have been working in new premises in Berlin-Schöneberg, bringing their clients’ visions to life with great energy and passion.

I had the opportunity to visit Antje on a hot late summer day in Berlin. A film was created about a strong and very intelligent woman, about communication, about initiative and courage, about success, and about the “adventure of life.”

Dear Antje, thank you for an exciting, emotional day, one might even say almost carefree. Thank you for allowing me to visit you in the new spaces of “wald & thal,” thank you for the shared memories, the communicative encounters with old and new companions, our palpable emotional connection, and the good conversations about your time at Schloss Torgelow.

It was a great pleasure to meet you and to experience you as a successful, intelligent, warm-hearted, and communicative entrepreneur and founder. The day in Berlin was a bright spot in this challenging time. I felt the bond that connects us both and has connected us even before. And at my age, one can be a bit sentimental: I am very proud of you and impressed by your communicative clarity, presence, and emotional strength.

P.S. Throughout the day, our exuberant joy and the “break” from everyday life got a bit carried away with us. Unfortunately, we did not adhere to the AHA rules during the farewell, even though we value and care deeply about consistently following them.
