Life can be so beautiful. And it is especially beautiful when you are entrusted with a task that brings joy, promises fun, moves you to tears, and you have the chance to visit impressive personalities in their professional environment.

I, Kirsten Lehmann, have the opportunity to meet former graduates of Schloss Torgelow in the film series “Kirsten Meets…” and visit them in their current lives.

What I experienced during my visits, what I learned about the various career paths of former students, their goals, and their time at Schloss Torgelow, has been captured on camera by Jens Lange from “flamencofilm.” The resulting films are multifaceted, very personal, full of life, a bit sentimental, and there are one or two challenges for me to overcome.

Definitely watch, save the date, and celebrate with me. Have fun!

Episode 7: Kirsten meets…..Johann Plenge, Director of Legal and Human Resources at RB Leipzig.

Johann came to us from near Bremen to the tenth grade at Lake Torgelow. After graduating from high school in 2003 at Schloss Torgelow, Johann studied law in Göttingen and passed his first state examination there. He then completed his second state examination in law in Leipzig while already working at “Rote Bullen.” Today, Johann is the Director of Legal Affairs and Human Resources at RB.

I had the opportunity to visit Johann for a day at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. A film was created about Johann, about friendship, about football, about commitment and enthusiasm, about the spirit of great athletes, about goals, about motivation, about family values, and about a great club.

Dear Johann, thank you very much for a day full of fun and joy, full of great impressions, full of warmth, full of energy, full of enthusiasm, full of trust and ease. Thank you for an unforgettable day in a beautiful football stadium. Visiting you was my very own summer fairy tale.

Episode 8: “Kirsten meets” takes a trip to the countryside and meets Martin Marsch. Martin is a trained farmer and has studied agricultural sciences. He lives with his family in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and farms over 2000 hectares of land. You can look forward to a film for which I needed work gloves and safety shoes.
