Episode 27 “Kirsten Meets……”: Dr. Nadine Rohloff, founder of Endo Health GmbH

Nadine graduated from high school in 2009 at Schloss Torgelow. She then studied medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, completed a semester abroad in France, and earned her doctorate. After her studies, she worked as a doctor in the women’s clinic at the University of Münster, dealing with patients in consultations, on the ward, in surgeries, and in scientific research involving endometriosis patients. During the Corona pandemic, she and her partner came up with the idea of developing an app that helps those affected.

Your Endo App

Nadine has become self-employed, founded Endo Health GmbH, and launched the “Endo-App.” Her app is a free prescription app and thus a certified digital health application (DiGA). The Endo-App is designed to support patients with individualized suggestions and content. The foundation of the Endo-App is a customizable, multimodal therapy approach that is applied in self-management. Today, Nadine leads a team of 25 people, is intensely involved in the further development of the app, passionately fights for the improvement of care for those affected by endometriosis, and has ideas for digital support for patients with other conditions.

My Day with Nadine

I had the opportunity to visit Nadine in Berlin and discuss endometriosis, her company, and the Endo app with her. During our meeting, Nadine and I talked about the combination of business and medicine, startups, business@school, heartfelt moments, friendship, and her time at the boarding school at Schloss Torgelow.

You are such a intelligent, kind, warm-hearted, approachable, and humorous woman who brings light to every room. You are passionate about your ideas, fight for those affected, and bring people to tears when you speak about your time at Schloss Torgelow.
