Torgelow Castle Boarding School on the way: Team project “Art” in Berlin
Why not go back to Berlin? After all, the capital offers a lot in terms of art! – Said and done: The participants of the art team project set off at the beginning of this school year to discover this very diversity!
On Monday (September 29, 2025), the eleven students of the team project, along with Ms. Mögenburg and Mr. Schnepf, headed to Berlin. During an initial tour (from Potsdamer Platz to the grand boulevard Unter den Linden), many first sketches were already created, drawn “snapshots” so to speak.
An even more interesting museum visit took place on Tuesday (September 30, 2025): The group visited the “Urban Nation” – where street art was showcased. Really exciting! A subsequent neighborhood tour contributed to a deeper understanding. In the afternoon, under the guidance of a trendy street artist, they worked independently in the museum’s large studio: with colorful tape. Truly thrilling!
On Wednesday (October 1, 2025), there was something else to see: In the Friedrichswerder Church and the Old National Gallery, artworks from the 19th century were the focus. Here too, people observed, marveled – and sketched. Truly admirable what the artists of past eras created!
On Thursday (October 2, 2025), team building was on the agenda. In the Berlin district of Tempelhof, the students competed in groups against each other in a game show to showcase their skill, ingenuity, and knowledge. A great fun!
Conclusion: The team project trip, which ended with many impressions, was beautiful – and the works created there will certainly be included in the weekly meetings now!
