Successful at the 23rd North German Memory Championship

Last weekend, the 23rd North German Memory Championship took place in Berenbostel near Hanover. In this challenging mental seven-event competition, participants had to prove their memory in various disciplines. These included memorizing historical dates, faces, words, and images. Of course, we were there with our junior brains.

The Schloss Torgelow boarding school also had three talented participants competing. Rosa and Oscar, both newcomers with only a few months of training, were quite pleased with their performances. They gained valuable competition experience and showed promising progress.

Trajan particularly stood out in the junior category. After the first discipline, he was in fourth place, but he steadily moved up. At the end of the competition day, he made a strong impression with outstanding performances: In the historical dates discipline, he achieved second place, and in the card memorization, he secured the top position in his range. This earned Trajan a well-deserved silver medal, and he was thrilled about his success.

The successful participation of Schloss Torgelow once again demonstrates that targeted memory training can achieve impressive results. The young talents have already proved themselves as promising hopes for the future in memory sports.
