Two Hanseatic cities in one go
In the 11th grade, which we call K1, career orientation is conducted. In capital letters. For this reason, the entire 11th grade, along with three teachers, set out on a day-long excursion to the university city of Greifswald.
The first part of the day was marked by a visit to the historic university building, where we were allowed to take a seat in the historic lecture hall. Afterwards, there was an introductory event for the medical program and insights into the field of environmental sciences. Both events were super interesting. It was great that we were allowed to ask questions directly and thus engage in conversation with the lecturers.
After a dinner in Stralsund, a visit to the theater was on the agenda. A poetry slam was presented, where five artists showcased their self-written humorous, critical, and thought-provoking texts. Some students from the year group even got to act as jurors and score the performances. It was a great deal of fun!
It was a great, informative, and entertaining day that sparked a desire to study and a joy for literature.
A heartfelt thanks goes to our bus driver Mr. Graedtke, who safely brought us back to Torgelow at night despite heavy snowfall.
